Calmus Ensemble’s stylistic breadth ranges from medieval sacred music to the era of German Romanticism and the evergreens of the Comedian Harmonists. Whatever their musical choices, their recipe for success is simple: a joy in singing and complete vocal professionalism.; For this program, the ensemble will present a mix of sacred and secular music from the 14th to the 20th centuries, including works by Josquin des Prez, Orlando di Lasso, Guillaume de Machaut, Johann Sebastian Bach, and Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy. The intimate acoustics of Goodson Chapel will enhance this a cappella performance.
