Why:

Participate in preparing and eating dinner with the fellow students and local residents at the Durham Rescue Mission men’s campus on Saturday, June 20. Practice or pick up some new cooking skills while learning more about the community of Durham.  All levels of culinary abilities are definitely welcome, so come for as long as you can.

The Durham Rescue Mission provides year-long housing and educational or training support for people undergoing a transitional period in their lives, often while overcoming drug and alcohol addiction or domestic abuse. Contribute your help and enthusiasm while enjoying the company and fulfilling meal results!

The Graduate and Professional Student Council (GPSC) organizes a series of lunches, The Administrator Lunch Series, as an opportunity for interested graduate and professional students to meet with Duke administrators in an informal setting. The event will host approximately 12 graduate and professional students with one featured Administrator for an hour-long free lunch/discussion period in the Faculty Commons room in the West Union building.

This time, the invited administrator is Jean Hanson, the Administrative Director of Student Health Center at Duke. You're welcome to discuss any issues related to student health(insurance, health center...) or simply have lunch with her.

Join us at Koskinen Stadium on Saturday, April 11th as the No. 1 team in the nation comes to town for a nationally televised game on espn2. Your eighth-ranked Duke men’s lacrosse team hosts ACC rival and No. 1 Virginia at 4 p.m. inside Koskinen Stadium.

 

The first 500 students in attendance will receive a blue Duke Lacrosse t-shirt!  All fans in attendance are encouraged to wear blue to the game to show your support for the Blue Devils.
