The rent is a steal considering the location: $400/month + 1/2 utilities. The location is a subdivision called Carpenter Park in Morrisville, NC, very convenient to I-40/I-540/RDU and just minutes from Duke. &lt;p&gt;The house is on Green Street, walking distance to 9th street and East Campus and a quick bike ride away from West Campus.  Two grocery stores are in walking distance as well as a number of cafes, restaurants and bars.  With a total of 1400 square feet the house has a living room, dining room, newly updated kitchen (with a gas range) and three bedrooms. Hardwood floors throughout the house. One bedroom is mine, one will be yours, and the third bedroom, located in the front of the house with windows on two walls, will be our shared office.  There is a great front porch and a fenced in back yard with a locked shed, perfect for bikes, outdoor gear and tools for projects. The small service porch out back has a washer and drier. I have a couple of spare bikes in the shed that you are welcome to use/have. They need a little love, mostly just need new tires. There is off street parking.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;About me: I&amp;#39;m a first year student at Fuqua and a 2001 graduate of Duke.  My background is in the maritime and outdoor education industries.  I am independent, open minded, laid back, love to travel (which is reflected in the art that is on the walls of the house so far) and clean.  I&amp;#39;m looking to live with a graduate student or professional who is of similar temperament.  Home, to me, is a place to relax, a haven away from work or school.  I love to share a cup of coffee in the morning and meals when schedules overlap. I&amp;#39;m also up for sharing a beer at the end of the day and having small get togethers occasionally, having friends over to grill in the backyard.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A well trained, well loved dog is fine, no cats please.  &lt;/p&gt;
