I purchased a home in May 2006 and I couldn&#39;t have had a more positive experience with my real estate agent, Laurel Cash. She&#39;s fantastic; she even drove between Duke and the homes I was looking at during rush hour and tracked it on her odometer and by the clock to see how far/how long my commute would be from each house, since I wasn&#39;t living in Durham yet at that time. As a first-time home buyer, I didn&#39;t really know what I was doing, but she took care of everything and walked me through exactly what steps I had to take, so in the end I had very little to worry about beyond choosing which house I liked best.
