Body, Emotions, & Creative Spirit

Reduce stress through the beat of world music!

Develop mindfulness skills and increase body awareness!

If you have any questions, contact Paula Scatoloni at (919) 660-1000. Paula is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a certified Shake Your Soul instructor. She combines her interest in dance and mindfulness to create a fun and freeing approach to movement designed to bring out the dancer in you.

Sweeney Todd is the killer thriller musical about the barber who did away with his customers with a flick of the razor and then had his lover serve up their remains in tasty meat pies. This show, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, book by Hugh Wheeler and directed by John Clum of the Duke Theater Studies faculty, is a joint production of Hoof ‘n’ Horn and the Department of Theater Studies. Show runs Thursday, October 23 through Sunday, November 2. Tickets are $10 General Admission and $5 Students and Seniors. They can be purchased through the Duke Box Office at tickets.duke.edu.

Entrepreneurship Week at Duke University - Technology Day: Exploring Entrepreneurship in medicine,science and Engineering


It's that time of the year when the word entrepreneurship becomes
synonymous with Duke University!

On October 30th, we're hosting an information session for all graduate
students to learn more about participating in Entrepreneurship Week at
Duke University.  You're invited.

At the information session, you will learn about Technology Day, a
whole day of activities completely devoted to entrepreneurship in
medicine, science and engineering, designed to inspire and open up
great possibilities. Mark November 18th on your calendars, and start
counting the days. The Searle Center is the place to be at to unleash
the innovator in you!

Bring your novel ideas and help make E-Week a more enjoyable experience for all.

Fret not, for we didn't forget - There Will Be Food! And lots of it!

MBA Games Turkey Trot 5K is on Nov. 15th at 9:30am on the Al Buehler Trail at the Washington Duke Inn. Registration begins at 7:30am so please come early! All proceeds benefit the Special Olympics of North Carolina. We are doing a canned food drive for the Durham Rescue Mission so please bring non-perishable food items. Speaker to be announced.
