Body, Emotions, & Creative Spirit

Reduce stress through the beat of world music!

Develop mindfulness skills and increase body awareness!

If you have any questions, contact Paula Scatoloni at (919) 660-1000. Paula is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a certified Shake Your Soul instructor. She combines her interest in dance and mindfulness to create a fun and freeing approach to movement designed to bring out the dancer in you.

Because starting a company is exciting, especially in college. This talk will guide you through how to use the resources at Duke at each stage of the Entrepreneurship process, in order to realize your goals.

And entrepreneurs deal with failure all the time. How do you plan for it? What are your contingency plans? And when it happens, how do you respond?

(1) Come listen to Will Pearson, Duke '01 that started mental_floss magazine at Duke and David Cutcliffe, Head Coach of the Duke Football Team.

(2) Schedule: 5:00 pm seating opens... 5:30 pm Will Pearson... 6:15 pm Coach Cutcliffe... 7:15 pm Networking reception.

A friendly conversation between two distinguished scholars.  Dr. Zulfiqar Ali Shah and Dr. James White will discuss the similarities and differences between the Bible, the Qur'an, and their respective faith traditions.  There will also be discussion on how Muslims and Christians can better dialogue in light of contemporary world events.  Von Canon Nov 20, 7-9pm.  Tickets are free at the door.
