Okay, so I know you’re probably tired of me trying to get you to do things for my “pet” charities, but this is a really great (and extremely easy) one so I hope that you all will run out after reading this and organize teams! On April 20th, the Ronald McDonald House of Durham (RMH) is holding its annual “sport a shirt, spend a night” fundraiser. For those of you who don’t already know, the RMH provides children receiving long term medical care and their families with an inexpensive housing option that is both close to Duke and much cozier that a hotel. The sport a shirt event is designed to keep these costs low. For $10, you get a really great shirt and the knowledge that you have paid for one family to spend one night at the RMH. All you need to do to participate is fax in the attached form to become a team leader...or talk one of your co-workers into it. ;) The team leader then takes the T-shirt orders and distributes them. Then everyone gets to go to work matching on Friday, April 20th. See, easy and fun, so I hope you will all consider becoming a team leader for your company/school/department!
