NAGPS National Conference 2007, Austin, TX !

The National Association of Graduate & Professional Schools (NAGPS -
www.nagps.org) is holding their 21st annual national conference in
Austin, Texas at the University of Texas-Austin Campus from November
15th-18th, 2007. The conference presents a chance to hear about the
work of graduate & professional student councils at various schools
across the nation, network with other leaders on campuses, hear great
national speakers, run for a regional or national officer position, a
chance to visit Austin, Texas and much more!

Duke GPSC will be sending students to this conference, with all travel
and accomodation expenses paid for, as part of the Duke delegation.
Students interested in attending should send a one page interest
statement to both:
Ali Saaem (ali.saaem@duke.edu) and Gautham Pandiyan (gp14ster@gmail.com).

The statement should detail:
- Why you are interested in attending
- Your history of involvement on campus at Duke
- How you propose to be involved with NAGPS activities in the future

Preference will be given to candidates with more than one year of
schooling remaining. The deadline for email submission of statements
is Friday, October 5th at 5pm.
