The Nicholas Naturalists have set up a marine trip out of Duke's Marine Lab for next Saturday, October 17th. We are renting a research vessel to conducte a dredge and trawl. This is a very unique experience that will expose you to the coastal critters and get you out to enjoy the Atlantic Ocean. The boat trip will last from 1 - 5pm and cost approximately $20. This time and money does not include driving to and from Beaufort, which is about 2 hours away.

This is a cool opportunity to see what's really out in our oceans and see where your seafood comes from. All aboard!
