As part of my fundraising effort to run in the Nike Women's Marathon with Team in Training this October, I will be hosting a wine tasting fundraiser at BrandyWine Cellars on Friday August 7th from 7:30pm to 9:30 pm. All proceeds will go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to help further their goal of curing blood cancers.
We will be tasting 5 fabulous wines (2 whites, 2 reds, and 1 sparkling) and there will be a variety of food donated by local restaurants to accompany the wines. While you are tasting you can enjoy live acoustic guitar music performed by my dad, Rick Staub, place a bid in the silent auction, and have a chance to win one of the door prizes. If the tasting leaves you wanting more, wines will be available for purchase by the glass or bottle during the event.
The suggested donation for the wine tasting is $15 if reserved in advance or $20 at the door (to reserve your spot simply email me at 8.7.09winetasting@gmail.com with your name and number attending so we can get a rough head count, or RSVP here ).
