Where: Multicultural Affairs Center, Bryan Center Lower level. Getting there: http://mcc.studentaffairs.duke.edu/location/index.html
Why:
Have you ever wondered what the bunch of Indian students who always put up a food stall at most campus events are up to? Come, find out how funds raised with your help at fun events like Springternational and the Annual Cricket Tournament have funded projects in India from health awareness in remote villages to peoples' empowerment through their Right to Information. We don't just raise funds. We review several projects and visit villages in India to better understand how our efforts at this end of the world can translate to action where it is most needed. We are a small group of committed volunteers and are always eager to work with enthusiastic folks in the Duke Community. Please join us for an update of all our activities, projects and financial report for the year 2007 and to learn more about how you can get involved. We look forward to your support and feedback!
Indian snacks and refreshments served. Please RSVP to sj35@duke.edu by Friday, Feb 29.
