Why:
The project would be from 9am to noon on April 13th, working out in the forest on trail maintenance. We will probably be working to eliminate trails in an area where extra foot trails are no longer needed. The project will involve raking and blocking the trail and generally preparing the area for re-growth. We may also be installing "waterbars", wooden beams that are used on the trail to control erosion. We will be more sure of our exact needs when the date is closer, but those are the likely activities.
Participants should wear clothes for being out in the forest, and bring water bottles. We will provide work gloves, but participants are welcome to bring their own as well.

It seems like the weather is going to be bad this Saturday (80% chance of rain) and we're going to have to reschedule our great event! It is now scheduled for 9am on Sunday, April 13. If this new date works better for some of you, please come out and help us!!
