Christoff Krige is a South African babe, who loves riding mechanical bulls. martini bars. beer pong. and speaking bad spanish. He is a master's student in the economic department.
Eric Vance is a PhD student in Statistics studying the probabilistic nature of social
networks and their application to African elephants. For the past 4+ years he's been
active in GPSC serving as a rep, planning basketball Campout, and working on student health insurance. Before coming to Duke he traveled around the world 3 times through 67 countries and has been to over half of all the most interesting places on Earth.
Chris Evans went to Duke for undergrad and is now at Duke's Business School. After
working a few years in Business Strategy, he hopes to start his own company.
Chris is a southern-bred gentlemen that knows how to treat a woman. He loves
music, intellectual challenges, and good company. Ladies, he's very willing
to let the top-2 bidders take him out...at the same time.
Carl Schreep is an M.A. student in religion, concentrating in 2nd temple Judaism.

Ike Ofodile is from Atlanta and is now back at Duke for his 2nd time around - first as an undergrad and now at the business school. He is in his final year at Fuqua, heading to Wall St. after graduation. He loves sports and cooking.
Shawn Selleck is a first year masters candidate studying International Development Policy. He says that talking about how passionate he is about helping people get out of poverty is a great way to attract women . . .until they realize that means living in a grass hut with no plumbing or electricity. We heard that he has a boatload of frequent flyer miles left over from his former job as a management consultant though, so we say date him, at least until those run out. Shawn is also a member of Sabrosura, Duke's Latin Dance Troupe. Ike Miller, 23, is from Apex, North Carolina. He went to Campbell University for Undergrad and is now studying in the Divinity School. Post Grad plans are uncertain but hopefully some form of doctoral work. Aside from school, he is easy going, and works for the women's basketball team, enjoys exercising and working out, reading, and watching movies.
Ruchir Shah spent more than five years in a state funded facility down the road (aka UNC) and ended up with a PhD before his release. Since then, he has pretended to be working for a renowned healthcare consulting company while he spends most of his time planning events and throwing parties. In the past, he has spun-off a biotech company from university, hiked across the Himalayas and over-slept many times to miss meetings - including his own seminar. He loves to cook, travel and socialize; and he invites all of you join "SPOT-NC", a social networking group that he recently started which bridges the graduate student communities and young professionals in the triangle area. Bri Vogen is a fourth year PhD candidate in the Chemistry department,
working on applications of chemistry in nanotechnology. She is a
member of the GPSC Social Committee and has her fingers on the pulse
of Duke?s graduate social life. She is also an avid Duke Basketball
fan and has been on the Basketball Campout Committee for four years!
In what little spare time she has, Bri enjoys having a great time with
friends and meeting new people, working out, and playing Guitar Hero
like a pro.
Alethea Duncan (Chemistry): Hailing from Trinidad via Miami, Alethea is
rocking her Ph. D. in Chemistry while giving back to the school through
BGPSA, GPSC, the BOOST program, and countless other ways and committees.
She loves music and dancing, as well as speaking her mind, but you are sure
to have a great time with this date. She is John Hopkin's alum where she was a cheerleader. whoo-whoo!
Amy Sanchez is a 1st yr clinical psych student, artist, aspiring mountain climber,
world-traveler and all-around renaissance woman. She's a Boston native but
is quickly getting used to summer in February and actually warming up to the
usage of y'all. Funny, friendly, with a touch of New England sarcasm, she's
the life of the party so go get your bid on!
Hailing from Brooklyn, NY, Zvia Shwirtz came to Duke to get an MA in Religion. This kosher hottie can talk dirty to you in Hebrew while puffing on that hookah of hers that she takes everywhere. Zvia has a passion for traveling and sarcasm.But dont let the innocent exterior fool you, Zvia can rap just as good as Jay-Z or 50 Cent
Marie Bouthers/Betsy Holmberg (two for price of one!): Marie is a 24 years old French exchange gradstudent in the art history department. She's enjoying her time at Duke, and loves spending time with her amazing friends. Betsy is one of them. She's a clinical psychology PhD student, and ready to have fun! They thought it would be even more fun to be on sale together, so buy them!
Jessi Bardill is a PhD student in the English department studying infectious diseases and blood (chew on that for a minute). She comes from Kennesaw, GA, and while a lovely Southern woman, she knows how to get down at the club. She loves hot tubs and other hot things (pepper eating contest anyone?), but She lso knows how to keep the peace. An alumna of Emory University in Atlanta (holla!), Jessi hopes to stay in academia and teach others about Native American life and literatures.
Ashley K. Brown is a PhD student in Public Policy hailing from New Orleans, LA. Even though she went to Williams College, she likes to keep the spice in life.
She loves to run, laugh, cook, and travel through warm spaces in foreign
places. Even though she is a nerd, she's a mysterious one who can speak the
purest English and the dirtiest French when provoked. She knows how to have
a good time living the good life.
Tanya Kossler
Sandra Viviana Vergara is originally from Colombia and is a 4th year Ph.D. student in Genetics and Genomics. Her research seeks to understand the metabolic consequences of iron deficiency, a public health problem affecting over 2 billion people worldwide, especially women and children in developing countries. She is passionate about science, nature and philanthropy, and hopes that by combining all three she will be able to contribute to humanity in some way (still figuring that part out). She has worked with Graduate Student Affairs promoting science education among students from less privileged backgrounds, and she am currently serving as the Duke – UNC liaison for the NC DNA Day Celebration, in an effort to promote science education among students of over 200 high schools across NC. Sandra loves dancing and would dance to a Christmas Carol if necessary, and she absolutely loves chatting with friends over good coffee for extended periods of time.
