Thinking About a Postdoc? What you need to know before you go
The panelists will specifically address the following: Planning ahead and avoiding the pitfalls; different types of postdoctoral fellows and how they are funded; biggest rewards and obstacles to postdoctoral life; how might a career path change during the postdoc; plotting the path to life after the postdoc; and tips for success. Panelists represent the humanities and social sciences, as well as natural and physical sciences.
