Looking for a summer internship or service experience, interested in microfinance or social enterprise? INTERNSHIPS UNPLUGGED is a program from the Duke Microfinance Leadership Initiative that gives students interested in working for microfinance organizations a chance to meet others who have experience in the field.

Rafe is a second-year Master’s Candidate in International Development Policy, with a particular interest in finding economic opportunities for rural communities through new mixed-sector development models, technology and other tools of modern business. His background includes alternative consumer markets like Fair Trade; fundraising for domestic and international development projects; and most recently coordinating market research on using microfinance to launch a new housing finance product for Habitat for Humanity in Ghana.
