Looking for a summer internship or service experience, interested in microfinance or social enterprise? INTERNSHIPS UNPLUGGED is a program from the Duke Microfinance Leadership Initiative that gives students interested in working for microfinance organizations a chance to meet others who have experience in the field.

Sunny is a senior double majoring in Economics and Public Policy Studies. He traveled to Muhuru Bay, Kenya in the summer of 2007 to do a microfinance community needs assessment for the Women’s Institute for Secondary Education and Research (WISER). To fully apply his research, he has taken a number of related courses in international development and econometrics.
