Why: The DOUGHMAN is the world's premier quadrathlon. Four-person teams relay through Durham competitively eating and participating in the traditional elements of a triathlon (bike, run, 'swim'). This year's event is once again raising money and awareness for the urban youth leadership program, the Durham Inner-city Gardeners. It's a great program for inner-city youth of Durham who plan, cultivate, harvest, and sell organic produce from the DIG garden at SEEDS (the Durham Community Garden).
