Why: The first Duke India Business Forum, organized by INDUS – The South Asian Business Club, will be held on March 22, 2009 at  The Fuqua School of Business, Duke University (Durham, NC).

Nearly two decades of structural economic reforms have firmly placed India on the growth expressway, re-integrating it with the global economy. The India of the past invented the numeral "zero", pioneered global trade routes, and created the first true global university among other things. Today’s India, the world’s second fastest growing economy, is using disruptive innovation to create a place for itself in a global economy – be it the global sourcing and delivery model or the $2500 passenger car. The Duke India Business Forum aims to explore this re-discovery of India’s global stature.
