What if I don't have a ticket card? Can I get into games?

If you don't have a ticket card, it is still be possible to get into most games. The Graduate/Professional School Ushers operate a walk-up line, which begins at the statue on the Wallace Wade side of Cameron, for people who are interested. Just bring your student DukeCard (or spousal DukeCard) so we know you are a graduate student or graduate student spouse. At tip-off, we see how much room is inside and let in as many walk-ins as we have room. For many games, this is the entire line!

Can I bring my child to the game?

Due to safety concerns, the atheletic department has prohibited children from sitting in the graduate student section.

Terms of Use

The GPSC Basketball Ticket Exchange Forum exists to facilitate the sharing of season ticket cards among graduate and professional students. Students must abide by the official men's basketball Ticket Card Policy. Failure to abide by the policy will result in ticket card deactivation. By using the Ticket Exchange Forum, students also agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Ticket cards may be freely exchanged or resold for face value. The per-game face value for the 2006-2007 season is $6.82. Scalping is prohibited and will result in ticket card deactivation. Scalping should be reported to the Basketball Committee Chairs by emailing bball.cmte@gmail.com.
  2. Lost or stolen ticket cards will not be replaced. As such, it is recommended that users of this forum take precautions to ensure that ticket cards are returned. An electronic ticket exchange contract can be found online. Signing the contract creates an official record of the exchange.
  3. A ticket card can only be used by a current graduate or professional student, spouse, or partner, and must be presented with a valid Duke Graduate/Professional/Spouse/Partner ID.

Official Men's Basketball Ticket Card Policy

  1. This policy applies to all ticket cards purchased by Duke graduate and professional students for entry into Duke Men's Basketball games in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
  2. A ticket card can only be used by a current Duke graduate student/spouse/partner and must be presented with a valid Duke ID. Lack of a valid Duke ID will be reason for the ticket cardholder to be denied entry into Cameron.
  3. Lost or stolen ticket cards will not be replaced.
  4. The unauthorized resale of a season ticket card is not permitted. While ticket cards are freely exchangeable with other graduate and professional students, this is allowed in the spirit that students will share ticket cards, not "scalp" their tickets to other students. The per-game cost of a ticket can be determined by dividing the cost of a season ticket ($150.00) by the number of home basketball games. Students are reminded that North Carolina state laws govern the acceptable resale of tickets. Failure to comply with such laws could result in disciplinary action from his/her graduate or professional school. Any student caught engaging in the unauthorized resale of a season ticket card will have that ticket card deactivated.
  5. A season ticket card does not guarantee admission to Duke home games after tip-off or an unobstructed view of the court.
  6. Ticket cardholders must comply with all policies and procedures set forth by Duke Athletics. These include no food, drinks, or backpacks/large bags can be brought into Cameron.
  7. A ticket card will be deactivated if the cardholder fails to abide by this, the 2006-07 GPSC Basketball Ticket Card Policy. This will be determined at the discretion of the 2006-07 GPSC Men's Basketball Ticket Committee co-chairs. No refunds will be issued for deactivated ticket cards.
