Community Outreach Photos - Durham Rescue Mission

The Durham Rescue Mission is a faith-based, non-profit organization. Our primary goal is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and His redemptive work on the cross. The Durham Rescue Mission is achieving this goal as we minister to the needy and homeless in central North Carolina.

The Durham Rescue Mission relies upon gifts from individuals, churches, businesses, civic groups, organizations, and foundations. We operate without any government funding.

GPSC Community Outreach members go once a month, on Saturday and serve either lunch or dinner. Our dinners/lunches are a very special event at the DRM. Many groups go to serve the meals, but we're the only ones who provide hot, non-reheated home-cooked meals! The residents turn out in force when they know we're cooking!
